Minutes
November 6th, 2024
Richard Johnson presiding, called the meeting to order with a ring of the bell.
Richard leads with Pledge of Allegiance and the singing of America, the National Anthem.
Invocation: Carl Cramer, mentioning unity during election time, and the children.
Raffle: Linda Bontly oversaw the ticket sales and drawing this week.
The weekly pot was $15 and the big (Joker) pot was $470.
Richard Johnson drew a ticket from the bucket, ticket number 2445.
Congratulations to the winner, Steve Skelly.
The deck of cards has 21/53 cards remaining. Steve drew the 4♠.
Carl Cramer announces a new member, Nancy Tarco, who Linda Bontly brought.
Member Health: Linda Bontly announced Don Anderson may come again soon.
Mel Lemirande announced Jon Sarnow is at the VA in Madison per his wife Barb.
Happy Box: Jerry Langdok’s grandson made the college football team as a freshman.
Other Announcements: John Janes announced the Truck on Ice now has $2,700 more.
Gregg Dickinson introduced the day’s speaker, Doug Ley. Doug is an attorney at Elder Advisors Law. They assist with estate planning, and offer informational material including, ‘How to Protect Your “Stuff” in 3 Easy Steps.’
Richard Johnson adjourned the meeting with a ring of the bell at 11AM.
